  • Image quality is quite good for a mini-camcorder , Removable, rechargeable battery , Bundled composite and HDMI cables , Strong low-light performance
  • Bundled software is necessary for smooth playback of 1080p video, but not Mac compatible , Doesn't include memory card
  • While Kodak's Zi8 may not be perfect, it has a lot of the little extras we've been asking for, like electronic image stabilisation and external mic support....

  • Sharp 1080p video and shooting options, can use earbuds as external mic
  • Controls are slow to respond, buggy, jumpy 4x digital zoom
  • The full-featured Zi8 captures the best HD pocket-camcorder footage we’ve seen, plus it has shooting options galore. Tere are some interface and key usability issues and digital zoom often get in the way. ...

  • Full 1080p recording at 30FPS, really good video recording quality, easy to use, composite and HDMI TV-Out, dedicated macro mode, good display quality
  • Large and bulky design, short USB cable, very narrow field of vision in 1080p mode
  • The Kodak Zi8 is priced at Rs. 9,990. For a FullHD camcorder that can be carried in your pocket, the price is not bad at all. In comparison the Creative Zen Vado HD costs much more and it does not even record videos in 1080p resolution. The video qualit...

  • Full HD 1080p recording, Simple to operate, Macro mode, Well saturated colors, HDMI connectivity
  • No memory card bundled, Glossy finish attracts fingerprints, Rather ineffective Image Stabilization
  • A snappy pocket camcorder loaded with handful of features to let you shoot good looking full HD video....

  • Expandable memory, Full HD recording, Compact design, Vibrant screen
  • Grain sized buttons, Low image details, Night videos are a little under-exposed
  • Towards the side you will find the power button and a memory expansion slot that supports a whopping 32 GB. Sadly the people at Kodak don’t feel the importance of throwing in a memory card which is an added expense since the camcorder can just squee...

  • The Kodak Zi8 is a step up from the Zx1. Although we are not really into its design, the image and video quality has improved. We felt Kodak’s effort in making the Zi8 more than just a YouTube cam for amateurs. There is, however, a problem with the pro...
