  • Abstract:  The question I’m getting the most since diving into the 5D world has been about “that infamous focusing issue”. I don’t think it would have been so infamous if the 7D hadn’t come out with such kickass focusing but now that everyone knows the possibili...

  • Abstract:  Many photographers were a tad confused about the positioning of Canon’s new 7D when it was announced to the market. Seemingly, it was considered to be an upgrade to the existing 50D range of camera, but what Canon have, actually, done is given the s...

  • Abstract:  The future is here. For years (decades, even?), low-budget filmmakers have dreamed of being able to achieve the look of film without the headache and cost of film equipment, processing etc. Over the past decade we've seen digital cinema grow and develo...

  • An 18MP (megapixel) resolution makes images taken on this camera stand out,
  • This camera can become heavy if holding it for long periods of time.
  • The Dual DIGIG 4 Image Processors, 1920 x 1080 HD video recording and a 19-point autofocus system make this camera a strong option....

  • Amazing picture, great sensitivity, large sensor, very cheap price.
  • Poor ergonomics for a video camera, focus is difficult while using standard and professional Canon EF still lenses.
  • A giant leap forward in inexpensive, high-quality, film-like HD video...

  • Solid build and weatherproofing with prostyle feel in hand. Frame rate is sportshooter ready. Wireless control of external Speedlite flashes. 8 frames per second in RAW makes us swoon.
  • Noisy popup flash motor. Quickcontrol dial on the back of the camera takes more effort to turn than previous Canon models. Auto white balance in artificial light is bronzemedal worthy at best.
