There's no doubt about it, this is a good all-rounder for any Micro Four Thirds users who are looking for a single lens for all their photo-snapping needs. But you can't have everything, and you'll have to be lenient with the maximum apertures, sharpness...

It is the versatility of the lens that makes it a winner. Olympus and Panasonic have similar lenses in their catalogues and the Tamron is a worthy contender, giving micro four thirds owners plenty of choice. The Tamron is so fast and silent in auto focus
