The editors didn't like

  • Weight
  • Weight. (Though
  • That might be a Pro if you’re wanting to keep fit!)
  • Limited water cooling options in the top of case due to size of S3 compartment
  • No rear fan included
  • Rubber cable pass throughs come off very easily.
  • Door hinges not designed well/don’t match with sleek black or white paint job
  • Hard drive toolless bays are good but possibly a bit too flexible
  • Very heavy
  • Even before component installation!
  • Lack of customisation for huge graphics cards
  • Drive bays flimsy
  • No side fans for graphics cards
  • No easy-swap drive bays

  • The Colossus was not intended to be a LAN case. It dislikes being shifted around on a regular basis, but it's something that you'd want to show off to your friends. It's a laser disco that nobody's invited to. It's cooling problems also mean that it d...

  • Decent first effort from a new company and it shows that the BitFenix design team is not short of imagination. Overall, it’s actually forced us to change our kit scoring system. We’ll explain in more detail in a follow up article, but essentially the ...

  • Great performance with today's hardware, Unique, colossal appearance that still makes an impression four years later, SofTouch finish minimizes fingerprints, LED lighting system, while starting to show its age, still more innovative than most of the compe
  • Very heavy, Flimsy drive trays, Only Green/Red or Blue/Red LED combos to choose from, no blends or custom colors
  • Seeing the Colossus M staged right next to its full-tower predecessor was a neat experience. It was interesting to see the changes and decisions made to take the soul of the Colossus and shrink it to micro/mini size, while ultimately retaining most of the...

  • Looks, Well designed, No resonating noises

  • Bitfenix has most definitely put a lot of effort in this case! Being well designed, cool looking, and making no resonating noises at all – it is one of the best cases I’ve ever encountered. The only thing which may cause one to be hesitant about buyin...

  • Abstract:  What do you do when you have a winning solution that's not dependent on Tiger Blood? You bank on it. That's why BitFenix has come out with two variations of its Colossus PC chassis, one of which, the Colossus Window, is now ready to prove itself. St...

  • The Bitfenix Colossus Venom Edition is a great case, there's no denying it. Those 3.5" internal hard drive bays are as annoying in this case as they were in the , but there is nothing else negative I can say about the case. It truly lives up to it's na...
