  • Corsair has seen the world just what they are made of since they introduced the Obsidian 800D. They seems to not care much about the competition as cases after the 800D like the Obsidian 650D and the Graphite 600T saw just able the same success. This ...

  • Overall, the Corsair Carbide 500R screamed first class, starting with the white/black color scheme to help it stand apart from the swamped, predominately black, case market. The addition of the USB 3.0, fan controller, and the LED light switch are al...

  • Excellent cooling capacity, High quality build, Onboard Fan controller, Removable HDD cage(s) to support extra long videocards, USB3.0 to 2.0 Adaptor included, Easy cable management,
  • Lacking side panel dust filter, Only mATX and ATX mobo support, Fans could be a bit more silent
  • With the Carbide series Corsair is able to adress yet another public then with it's fancy high end, but also more expensive, Graphite and Obsedian lineup. A public that still wants to own a high quality chassis, but at a more affordable price level....

  • It’s always tough to rank products in roundups like these, especially when each one has merit, as is the case with each of the products we reviewed here. Truly, depending on your taste and needs, you could purchase any one of these cases and be satisfi...

  • Abstract:  Corsair's successful entry into the case world has taken quite a few people by surprise including consumers and many competitors in the case market. With the first Corsair Obsidian series, the 800D, Corsair standardized many features that were only ...

  • This case has great features, great air flow, and only only has one true flaw, and that is that it blocks some SATA ports on EATX boards. Corsair also needs to include more than zero documentation with their cases to help new builders. Otherwise, I thin...

  • Abstract:  Corsair is one of those well organized companies who properly divide their product into the series: Dominator, Vengeance, Hydro… list is pretty extensive. It should be a no-brainer for some who is in regular update with what's happening in today's hardwar...

  • Excellent engineering quality, Excellent paint job, Additional 200 mm fan in the side panel (compared to 400R), Great external looks, Very well thought out internals, Parted HDD cages, so that you may remove one for long graphic cards, New and unique lock
  • A full $40 (40%) more expensive than the 400R, Dust can easily enter the system
  • Corsair has already managed to impress with the Carbide 400R chassis and the more potent 500R is no exception. It takes the already great 4-series Carbide chassis and improves on its cooling possibilities, adds a fan controller to adjust the rotation s...
