  • High temperature results under heavy load
  • Noise
  • Mounting mechanism not robust
  • Fairly mundane heatsink aesthetics
  • No rubber anti vibration pads for a 2nd fan
  • For Intel sockets no alternative to pushpins
  • No PWM adaptor to Molex
  • Retention wires can be a bit awkward.
  • Not one for overclocking

  • So in the end, Coolermaster once again restored my faith in their products. They won out over Evercool and especially the stock heatsink. And if that temperature difference alone isnt enough to make you want to buy the TX3, theres also the prices....
