  • The Zalman CNPS10x Extreme cooler at the time of this article will run you about $80 dollars and although it includes a fan is still rather expensive in my book. The cooling potential that this cooler presented wasnt bad by any means. In fact wi...

  • Excellent performance, PWM Mate fan controller, Black nickel finish
  • Installation
  • Zalman has stepped away from the cooler design it is well known for and has done a pretty good job. With this step away from the flower design, they also open up a little bit and give you the ability to swap fans. Cooling performance of the CNPS10X Ext...

  • The CNPS10X Extreme marks a departure for Zalman from what we would argue has become a tired design. Weve seen the circular, copper blueprint recycled through several iterations and the new design is a nice change of pace. The first thing youll notic...

  • Zalman has been a very well known brand for high-performance coolers for a long time. But most of their famous coolers use a round design with the heatsink fins squeezed in the center. CNPS 10X Extreme, however, uses a different design: it has a tower ...

  • We didnt find any of the initial LGA1156 HSFs particularly great for cooling our heavily overclocked and overvolted Lynnfield CPU, though we didnt see any fail to keep the CPU within its thermal tolerance either. However, possibly the most annoying a...

  • Zalman is back in the saddle with the CNPS 10X Extreme performance-wise, now to work on quieting down that fan at full speed. ...

  • Once again Zalman Tech has come to the plate and knocked it out of the park. In a matter of a month or two when word reaches the forums telling of how well this heatsink performs you will more than likely have a very hard time finding one for yours...

  • Noctua NH-U12P SE1366The second most expensive cooler today is the Noctua. It performed admirably and did come with two fans though those were easily beat by one stronger fan. If silence is the name of the game and the only thing you’re looking for...
