  • Standard hard drive
  • Wheres the memory?, Overpriced, A confusing setup
  • Like a homosexual clergyman, the X100 is confused. Unfortunately, it seems not to know what it was created for. At first glance it looks like a neat media centre; like something you wouldnt mind sitting next to the hi-def TV in your lounge. The problem...

  • Good gaming grunt, Extremely quiet.
  • Comparatively large, No TV gubbins.
  • Perfect for a frag fest, but more a spare-room PC than a front-room one

  • The Shuttle XPC mini X 100 is a fantastic example of a small form factor PC. Its quiet, attractive and offers plenty of flexibility. Its only hindered by the absence of Windows Media Center Edition, and its comparatively high price ...

  • Abstract:  Shuttle X1009/20/06 – Powering the Shuttle X100 is the Intel Core Duo T2300 mobile processor. This seems to be a standard choice for most mini PCs thanks to its mix of performance and low heat production. It is matched up with a full gigabyte of PC2...

  • Abstract:  Shuttle has done an outstanding job of improving its brand awareness over the past few years. Since launching one of the first SFF (Small Form Factor) machines, the name is now interchanged in the same way a Vacuum Cleaner is often referred to as a Hoover...

  • Abstract:  Just another $999 PC? Not exactly -- Shuttles little black box is even smaller than the companys well-known small-form-factor desktops, hardly bigger than a Stephen King hardcover, but stuffed with an Intel Core Duo CPU, 250GB Seagate SATA drive, and...

  • The X100s small, trendy form factor and the less-is-more approach to its design are also notable in Apples Mac Mini. The similarity extends to the technical details, too: The Core Duo processor and the use of mobile parts are both features of Apple...

  • Compact size; attractive small-form-factor chassis; 2GB of memory; roomy hard drive.
  • Lacks default TV tuner and Wi-Fi; giant power brick is a hassle; not a lot of bang for the buck compared to other current PCs.
  • If the Shuttle XPC X100 had come out when it was announced six months ago, wed like it a lot better. Competing systems such as the WinBook Jiv Mini pack more features into a smaller package, but the trade-off is less RAM and hard-drive space.
