4k resolution arguably too high for this size screen for some uses and systems
Supply and demand has created numerous choices in the Ultra HD monitor category. Even though five different brands all use the same panel part, they do not perform the same. Samsung stands out from the pack with accurate color and an image enhancement...

Could use the more modern HDMI 2.0 ports, Lack of built-in speakers, Low HDMI refresh rate, 4K monitors will continue to get cheaper
The bottom line as far as the U590 is concerned is that this is a great 4K monitor for any gaming, video watching and computer work needs you might conceivably have. There are better, more feature rich and possibly visually clearer monitors out there but...
Abstract: It was only a few short years ago when the idea of a giant phone seemed like a freak show absurdity. With Apple leading the market, most people were used to smartphones with 4-inch screens and anything bigger seemed… wrong somehow.Times have changed and A...
Abstract: Our colorimeter measured it at 228 cd/m2, almost double the recommended 120cd/m2 that is standard amongst displays. We lowered the brightness to 120cd/m2 to compensate, and were rewarded with a much more palatable image. Samsung has decided to go for sty...
The UD590 is a great monitor if you want a (relatively) cheap entry into 4K gaming or movie-watching or photo editing. It's not perfect, of course, but it's a good choice for a future-proofed display that is versatile enough to handle a wide variety of ta...
While we have to admit that the Samsung U28D590D uses pretty cheap plastic materials for its body, this isn't something that you are going to show off your friends like a smartphone, the 4K monitor performs as it should and we find no issues on using it, ...
