  • The 9600 GT leaves me a little confused if I'm honest. The reason being is that Nvidia know how the HD3850 performs. They know what numbers it puts out and yet they made a card that basically rivalled it rather than beat it. Sure, I know that it is very...

  • Faster performance than anything from ATI in this price range; makes most games playable at medium or better quality settings (depending on resolution); box includes all necessary cables and adapters.
  • Still requires audio pass-through cable for audio output over HDMI.
  • Nvidias new GeForce 9600 GT graphics chip gives the Asus EN9600 GT some of the best bang-for-the-buck weve seen in a midrange 3D card. If your goal is reliable frame rates in the latest PC games, you should pick this card up as soon as you can.

  • Very fast for the price; HDMI converter included; can be used with another 9600 GT card in SLI mode
  • No DirectX 10.1 or 3-Way SLI support
  • Asus EN9600GT is an under-$200 graphics card—based on nVidias GeForce 9600 GT graphics engine—that offers good 3D performance even on the most demanding games. ...

  • The ASUS 9600GT doesn’t ultimately stand out, but does offer a lot of little advantages. For starters, we find ourselves with a 3 year warranty on their card versus the 2 year warranty that a lot of other companies offer. While the aftermarket cooler...

  • Good build, single slot, good performance
  • No bundled games, poor clocker
  • The 3D Mark 2005 and 2006 scores of the Asus EN9600GT were similar to those of the engineering sample we received from Nvidia. The same goes for the game benchmarks as well. It is weird, though, that the scores were almost identical for the Call of Ju...

  • No matter which side youre on, ATI or NVIDIA, theres no denying that the renewed competition brought about by the release of the GeForce 9600 GT will only be good news for the consumer. In fact, with ATIs price cuts, the price performance ratio of t...
