Launch price needs to drop to better compete with Samsung and other Crucial drives, Capacities top out at 480GB, No M.2 version
Crucial's budget-minded BX300 drive is surprisingly speedy, thanks to its 3D MLC NAND, though it still needs a slight price drop if it hopes to stand out in today's competitive SSD market. Read More...
Crucial has made a good step forward with the BX300 coming from the BX200. The choice of (3D) V-NAND helps them in write performance, and armed with dual-caches and the new Silicon Motion SM2258 controller the combination of it all seems to be a rock soli...

Murder on the Orient Express is a great movie. I disagree entirely with most of what I have read as criticism of the movie, as it is overall a fun and enjoyable flick. The main critique of the movie, that I have noticed, is the main character, Hercule Poi...

In the end, it all comes down to performance per dollar that equals value. So, what do we have in the BX300? One of the best performing SATA SSDs we've ever tested at about the lowest price per gigabyte we've seen recently. This is a winning combination...
The BX300, all things being equal, and by that we mean available at or near the same price as TLC NAND SSDs, is the better drive. You might not notice the performance difference in everyday use, but the first time you write a large batch of files to it yo...

You have seen the numbers and the results on the previous pages, and honestly I am quite impressed with the results. I don't expect the Crucial BX300 SSD Series to be on top in terms of performance, because these aren't “high performance / flagship” SSDs...
