Unbelievably long battery life.
The super smudgy lid belies a complete revamp inside the Eee PC 1000HE. The keyboard's now chiclet style
With individual keyholes like the new MacBooks to make touch typing easier. Best of all though

Windows only. Spongy keyboard. Not many overall improvements
Build quality is not top-notch
It doesnt quite last all-day most of the time
No 3G. It's heavy. And it's more expensive than other netbooks.
For a netbook that goes for so long away from the mains
We'd have preferred a few more mobile internet options. Wi-Fi will do
But where's the built in 3G? You'll have to put your own dongle in and look like a numpty in Starbucks. And that be...
Abstract: Asus Eee PC 1000HE: packed with performance.RRP: $899 Asus new Eee PC 1000HE is the Cathy Freeman of netbooks. Its stylish in a leanly muscled way, is packed with performance and simply wont stop running. Long after other netbooks have run out ...
Design, keyboard is comfortable to type on, excellent battery life, 10in screen
Keyboard base bounces when pressure is applied, touchpad isn’t smooth and multitouch is frustrating, no Gigabit Ethernet
ASUS’ Eee PC 1000HE isn’t a groundbreaking upgrade but the extra battery life is definitely welcome. The keyboard will divide people and the touchpad is a mixed bag, but this netbook is still a worthy option if you’re after something lig...
Great keyboard, Hybrid storage offers the best of both worlds
Noisier than most netbooks, Multi-touch trackpad isnt all its cracked up to be
The Asus Eee PC 1000HE is a good 10-inch netbook; however, we feel the competitors have outstripped the original inventors of the form factor. Youd get better value from an HP Mini 2140 or MSI Wind U115 Hybrid. ...

The Asus Eee PC 1000HE is one of the best Asus netbook out there, with its 10.1-inch screen. You can squeeze up to 8 hours of nonstop usage from its 6-cell battery, and it has a pretty large touchpad to work with. Slightly expensive compared to the ...
Improved keypad, longer battery life, solid build, super hybrid engine
Looks a bit dull, price should be lower

Slightly faster Intel Atom CPU fails to impress; other Netbook makers have shown more innovation.
Asus practically invented the Netbook market, and the Eee PC 1000HE is an overdue overhaul that offers a new CPU and great battery life but misses some of the competitions bells and whistles.
Improved keyboard; great screen; very long battery life.
Rather large for a 10in netbook.
The Eee PC 1000HE is certainly a worthy addition to the series — Asus has tweaked parts that need improving (like the keyboard and battery) and kept others that worked. Also, at RM1,599, it is cheaper and better than the similar Eee PCs that was rel...
