  • Price, no moving parts except for a cooling fan, very light and easy to carry, silent
  • Small capacity, low resolution, adults will find it hard to type on (especially during the cold months) The Final Word It has been out for a while now, but the original Eee PC is still great value and one of the best super-portable laptops on the market.

  • Abstract:  Asus intended its little Eee PC laptop for classrooms and kids at home but its become a surprise hit with grown-ups. No one expects this super compact subnotebook to replace a full-blown laptop but the tiny footprint (the screen is a mere 18cm) and w...

  • Abstract:  Selling a $499 ultraportable laptop might be harder than it sounds. Misled by the low price, consumers could well believe quality for that kind of money is an unobtainable nirvana. The Eee PC defies all expectations, particularly for a device...

  • Abstract:  Forget about notebooks or desktops that have unnecessary programs that confuse users rather than help them. The Asus Eee PC is a notebook that will make learning, working, and playing a lot easier with its simple and user-friendly programs. Click to e...

  • Super light, Attractive, Sturdy, Well featured, Great for first time users
  • Keyboard is a bit too small for adult fingers, Inbuilt microphone is insanely placed, Needs a configurable scrolling area on the touchpad, Touchpad isnt very responsive to tapclicking
  • The EeePC isnt for everyone — in fact within about two seconds from picking it up youll know if its for you or not. For those it does appeal to, its a brilliant little thing that fills a much lamented gap.

  • The Eee PC is not for everyone; but having said that, it also seems to have a bit of everything (except a Microsoft OS, but they are working on that). It comes in a neat little package (Dimensions: 22.5 x 16.4 x 2.15~3.5 cm) with five different colors...

  • Abstract:  The thing that annoys me about most notebooks is that theyre not actually that portable. "Luggable" is a better word to describe them. Notebooks are they way they are for a reason: they have to be usable as well. Truly small and portable computers usu...

  • Ultra-portable and ultra-light, attractive looks, good performance, near-perfect customized OS, good battery life, well-priced
  • Cramped keyboard, mediocre touchpad tap response, low usable storage space
  • The Asus Eee PC is available for a retail price of Rs 18,000, and thats well-priced for sure. That much cash will fetch you an upper-mid segment smartphone; the Eee PC can do a lot more. Its easier and more comfortable to type on its keyboard than o...
