  • One of the most comfortable keyboards weve used on any mininotebook. Sleek and solid build makes other minis seems like flimsy toys. Grown up hard drive means youll have 120and 160GBs at your disposal. Beautiful, scratch resistant 8.9inch screen.
  • Feeble Via processor doesnt do the job - at least with Vista. Tiny trackpad and awkwardly placed left and right buttons makes navigating difficult. RAM Size: 2 GB Clock Rate: 1.2 GHz at time of review, now available at 1.6 GHz Hard Drive Size: 120 and 16...

  • Solid and classy chassis; superb keyboard; great touchpad lock; high-resolution screen
  • Poor system performance; very poor video playback; relatively heavy
  • With a better processor and less glossy screen, this would be the ultimate

  • Abstract:  Amidst a flurry of small and seemingly underpowered netbooks, HP has taken a slightly different tact in their release of the surprisingly capable HP Mini-Note device. While its up-to-$850 price tag places it in a significantly different category than...

  • The HP 2133 Mini-note Linux Edition is an incredibly good looking piece of kit, but is sadly a classic example of style over substance. Gorgeously designed and stunning to look at, the 2133 Mini-note seems to have it all at first glance. The keyboard i...

  • Im pretty torn over the Mini-Note. There are a lot of things about this little notebook that really turn me off, including its highly reflective screen coating that all but demands running the display at full brightness, which of course shortens batte...

  • Abstract:  HP’s 2133 Mini-Note has been out for a few weeks now and some of the excitement has certainly died down, but even days after its release we knew that this was one of the ultra low-cost PCs (ULCPC) to beat. It was originally intended for...

  • Nearly full-size keyboard, Sharp display, Durable design, Good battery life
  • Pricey, Awkwardly placed mouse buttons
  • When we first reviewed the Vista version of the HP 2133 Mini-Note, we praised the system for its excellent keyboard, crisp display, sturdy build, and wealth of connectivity options. Now we’ve gotten our hands on the XP configuration, and although it...

  • Were this review based on design and features alone the HP 2133 Mini-Note PC would be walking away with a Recommended Award: that's a fact. It has a superb keyboard and a chassis that's a cut above both the Eee PC and anything we've seen, released or othe...

  • Abstract:  Overall the HP Mini-Note and Asus EEE 900 have strayed away from the original EEE ultra-low-cost concept and are competing with budget laptops but offering limited power. Of course these machines are all about portability but other models due out soon may offer a better balance…
