  • Picking the right laptop isn't an easy choice, especially if you are ordering online. It's my job as a reviewer to point out the flaws in the product and it's not always an easy job. Thankfully, the HP Folio 13 hasn't provided any serious issues to re...

  • We didn't expect HP's latest Ultrabook to deliver a knockout blow for only $1126, but the Folio 13 punches well above its weight. Great build and looks go hand in hand with all-day battery life; the ergonomics are good, if not great; and only the display...

  • Excellent build, Lovely backlit keyboard, Great SSD storage, USB 3.0 port, Decent battery life
  • Not as sexy as some Ultrabooks, Very poor screen, Mediocre CPU, Odd memory configuration, Irritating touchpad
  • In the nascent but rapidly maturing Ultrabook market, the new HP Folio 13 faces some very stiff competition. On paper, it gets off to a slow start thanks to a number of rather mediocre specifications. The Intel Core i5-2467M CPU, for instance, isn't exact...

  • Abstract:  HP’s the newest arrival to the Ultrabook party, claiming its Folio 13-1008tu is ideal for power users who need performance on the move. Based on our testing, we definitely agree. The Folio has a 2nd Gen Intel Core i5-2467M processor and 4GB of RAM ba...

  • The HP Folio 13 has everything that matters most in an ultrabook: very good battery life, an excellent backlit keyboard, all the requisite ports for mobile use, and a very comfortable feel, along with a competitive entry-level price
  • The Folio 13 is no looker compared with other ultrabooks, and is a bit thicker and heavier than thin laptops such as the MacBook Air. The clickpad's just a bit too finicky for our tastes, too
  • Great build quality, phenomenal battery life and a lovely keyboard/touch pad combo make HP's Folio 13 one of our favourite ultrabooks....

  • Keyboard and touchpad, Build quality, USB 3.0
  • No backlight timer, Only two USB ports
  • The Folio 13 is one of the best Ultrabooks on the market, simply because it's a joy to use and it has all the right features: long battery life, a thin chassis, responsive performance, an SSD, USB 3.0, Gigabit Ethernet, full-sized HDMI and a backlit keybo...

  • Abstract:  HP’s first Ultrabook available in New Zealand is the Folio 13; a shiny, brushed-metal rectangle with subtly rounded corners and a rubberised, non-slip coating on the underside. Weighing in at 1.49kg, the 13-inch Folio is lighter than some of the 11.6-i...

  • Abstract:  HP has long impressed us with the build quality of their notebooks, and its ultrabook, the Folio 13, is no exception. Granted, there are certainly thinner ultrabooks out there, but not nearly as many that feel so solidly built and well put together. O...
