  • Design, manufacturing, haptics, Matt surfaces prevent fingerprints, Good touchpad, Bright display
  • Keyboard's small keys, Glossy display, Low scope of delivery, Poor extendability, Only 10/100 Mbit/s LAN, Quite high price
  • Great looks, which however are noticeable in the priceThe Sony Vaio VPC-W21C7E/G netbook's looks quite appealed to us and even the netbook's manufacturing was impressive. We found the very small keys on the keyboard and the rather short battery life not q...

  • Bright 720p HD screen, Unique, eye-catching design, Above-average performance for a netbook
  • Expensive, Cramped keyboard, Tinny speakers, Mediocre Flash media playback
  • Sony's Billabong-designed netbook stands apart from the 2010 pack with a high-res screen and a wild design. At $499, though, it's a good buy only if you're smitten with the look. ...

  • Because the price tag of the Sony VAIO W Series VPCW211AX/L mini notebook is very close to that of some lower end, full-sized notebooks, if you prefer features and performance over portability then you should consider a different model. Needless to say...

  • Abstract:  The Sony Vaio Eco does not stand out among the competition when it comes to its performance or features. Where it does stand out, however, is in its design that employs recycled parts. Its price may be too high for some, but those who are environmentally conscious may be willing to pay that premium for this netbook.

  • Great HD screen, Green design, Well designed touchpad and touch buttons, Very good video performance, Parent-friendly software
  • Relatively expensive, Cramped keyboard, Battery juts out underneath, Only two USB ports
  • Sony’s latest netbook sports an eco-friendly design and parent-friendly software, but we wish it had a larger keyboard.

  • Unique style, good build quality, excellent display, wide palm rest and good touchpad, faster processor than many netbooks, adequate performance
  • Poor battery life, only two USB ports, slightly cramped keyboard
  • Sony has splashed the VAIO VPCW21BAGZ netbook with a Billabong theme, but it's the netbook's high resolution screen, good build quality and adequate performance that should win the most praise. The slightly cramped keyboard and poor battery life are downs...

  • Use of recycled materials doesn't affect cost or attractiveness of Vaio W; comes with own bag; next-gen Atom offers long battery life; HD-ready display.
  • Cramped keyboard; mediocre video playback; more expensive than similar Netbooks.
