The editors liked
Streamlined operation
Good interface
Easy to install. Simple to set up
The editors didn't like
Limited online storage
Lacks Wi-Fi features. Doesn’t support all browsers
Practically invisible security/optimization software; beginner-friendly, but also suitable for advanced users
Antiphishing feature slows down Web browsing in IE, doesnt work in other browsers; settings, help somewhat simplistic
You dont have to be a novice to find lots to like in Symantecs comprehensive new system-protection package. Even if it doesnt do everything we might like, its still a major improvement over the bloatware weve become accustomed to. ...

Norton 360 is mercifully light on system resources; its intuitive, covers most of the bases that a comprehensive security-and-performance tool should, and includes free online storage.
Norton 360 doesnt support Firefox or Opera browsers; doesnt include wireless security tools, doesnt provide an ID vault for passwords or credit card info.
For home and student use, we think Norton 360 represents the best value for ease of use, tools offered, and overall system performance. We recommend it over McAfee Total Protection and Microsoft Windows Live OneCare.
Fantastic customer support, Great products included, Easy to install and maintain, Unique business model
Expensive, Only covers five devices, Norton Mobile Security isn't great
There's no denying that there is a lot of great antivirus software included with Norton One. Even on its own Norton 360 v6 is a fantastic product that covers a lot of bases, with password storage and syncing (Norton Identity Safe), backup features and PC ...

Abstract: Security suiteSymantec, perhaps prompted by Microsoft’s Live OneCare and McAfee’s Total Protection, has completely revamped Norton Internet Security and served it up as Norton 360. While $129 for the package is a relatively large outlay for us...
Abstract: Heres a complete desktop security product from Symantec, called Norton 360. It provides protection from malware, spyware and even phishing attacks. It also contains a firewall, backup recovery, and an additional tool for tuning the PC. Norton 360 has...
