Fremragende skærm og uovertruffen samlekvalitet. Lækker brugerflade. Hurtigere mobilt internet. Relativt billig i forhold til konkurrenterne.
Ikke store forbedringer i forhold til iPad 2. Det forbedrede kamera er stadig akavet at bruge. Batteriet dræner hurtigere end tidligere og tager længere tid at oplade.
