The original Google Nexus 7 was many things
But it wasn't all that sophisticated. The plastic casing felt cheap when compared to rival devices
And the screen was a little dull at times. The low cost meant that many people overlooked these issues
But thankfully the 2013 model addresses them - and then some. The full HD display is substantially sharper and brighter - make no mistake

No 64GB model
Like last year's model
There's no way to expand the amount of storage available on the 2013 Nexus 7
Which could be a headache for seasoned downloaders. The new camera is also a bit pants
