The 7000 looks good. It looks really good. I think it's the sharpest Android tablet I've ever seen. Those tiny bezels look great
And that slimness is almost beyond belief. It's not just the body the 2560 x 1600 OLED screen is fantastic too
The battery
The Dell Venue 8 7000 is remarkably thin and lightweight with a comfortable feel. The Intel RealSense depth-sensing camera is an innovative feature and the preloaded Dell Gallery efficiently works as a central hub for photos. Its storage capacity expands

The 7000's asymmetrical design can be more annoying than a more traditional bezel layout at times. The RealSense cameras are a letdown. Depth-sensing Lytro-style refocusing tech in your tablet could probably be cool
But the apps and cameras are iffy. Th
There's a learning curve to using the depth-sensing camera and the photo-editing software. The tablet can get hot during long periods of use
Beautiful display, Great performance, Cuttingedge camera
Minimal internal storage, Overlyslender bezels, Slightly outofdate OS

Wellbuilt, very slim design, Long battery life, Stunning screen, The first tablet with Intel's RealSense 3D camera setup
It's too easy to accidentally obstruct the speaker and rear camera, Despite Intel's RealSense technology, the actual image quality is mediocre
Dell's flagship Venue 8 tablet is thin and well-made with a stunning screen and long battery life. It's one of the best Android slates you can buy, but we'd like it even more if the image quality from the camera were better -- and if it weren't so easy...

The Dell Venue 8 is a tablet that I really wanted to like. From the moment I unboxed it, it had a level of craftsmanship that I have seldom seen in other Android tablets. The aluminum casing is rigid and sturdy, which is a breath of fresh air compared to...
Beautiful display, surprisingly thin and light, premium metal design looks very sleek, great battery life, decent overall performance.
Mediocre rear camera, Intel's RealSense feels gimmicky and unpolished, Android 4.4 is not x86optimized (but Lollipop could fix that).
Dell also sent along its HDMI streaming dongle, Dell Cast, as well as a wireless keyboard and mouse combo. Similar to other HDMI dongles, Dell Cast allows users to stream content from an Android tablet. All you need is a free HDMI port and a USB port for ...

Given the choice of buying one of these four tablets discussed in this review, the Dell Venue 8 7000 stands at the top of my list. I can't claim to have looked at every high-end Android tablet on the market so I cannot claim definitively that this is the...
Android rose to prominence in tablets on the back of budget devices that cost a fraction of the Venue 8 7000's sticker price. But there's room for a better experience, and the Venue delivers one. The Venue's overall fit and finish is impeccable even comp...
Abstract: Dell is on the comeback trail. Quietly, the company that used to make PCs that would make you groan with disdain has been releasing a series of pretty stellar products. After releasing a MacBook challenger last year, the company made an impressive showing...

Challenging handling experience, Underwhelming camera, Old software version
8.5 While the Dell Venue 8 7000 is not without its flaws, the world's thinnest tablet brings a lot to the table, with a fantastic price point to boot....
