  • Sturdy build quality, Flexibility via accessories, Longlasting battery
  • Mediocre performance, No industrystandard ports built in, Cost of accessories
  • It doesn't really make sense to think of the HP ElitePad as a budget tablet. While the base model without any add-ons is competitively priced, the real strength of this device lies in its flexibility. With a cornucopia of accessories available, it is abl...

  • 16x10 aspect ratio on display. Simple design. Full size HDMI on Expansion Jacket. Enterprise ready accessories. Has NFC.
  • No ports on tablet chassis, requires Expansion Jacket for USB, HDMI, etc. No alternate charging. MicroSD and SIM slot requires paper clip. Limited multimedia creation. Doesn't work with Wacom digitizer stylus
  • The HP ElitePad 900 brings Windows 8 slate tablet computing to SMB and enterprise businesses, but unless you're standardized on HP products, there are better choices out there....

  • Attractive design, Bright display, Accessories add functionality, Good battery life, Sharp 8-MP camera
  • Productivity Jacket bulky, Sharp edges, Slow hard drive
  • With a bright display and a number of optional accessories, the HP ElitePad 900 is a versatile business tablet.

  • Attractive design, Excellent build quality, Bright, high-gamut display, Reasonable price
  • Poor connectivity without optional jacket, Average display resolution, Slow processor, Expensive, so-so peripherals
  • HP believes there's a demand in the enterprise market for tablets that can go feasibly go anywhere and do anything. We agree, but don't agree that the 900 is capable of filling that role. Much of the problem lies with the limits of current technology. ...

  • Plenty of expansion options, Light and well built, Removable battery and second battery option
  • Won't know until we test it
  • HP is targeting the business market with its ElitePad 900 Windows 8-based tablet. It runs an Intel Atom SoC processor and plenty of management, security and expansion options available....

  • The HP ElitePad 900 is a well-built business tablet with an impressive array of add-ons and accessories
  • The base tablet starts out expensive, and those docks and jacket accessories add even more to the cost. Intel's Atom performance continues to underwhelm
  • If someone else is footing the bill, HP's expensive ElitePad 900 and its accessory ecosystem cover a lot of bases, but this isn't going to be a consumer crossover product....

  • Thin and light, Feels good to hold, Heaps of options
  • Lacks built-in USB and video out, Low screen resolution, Optional extras can add significantly to the overall cost
  • If you require a Windows tablet that's thin and light, then the ElitePad 900 is for you. It runs an Intel Atom CPU, so it's not quick, but it can run for many hours on end and it won't get warm. It doesn't have much built in (not even USB), but there are...
