The editors liked

  • Powerful enough for daily tasks
  • Comes with a detachable keyboard
  • Kickstand design
  • Nippy performance
  • Good screen and stylus
  • Solid build quality and relatively lightweight
  • Solid build quality
  • Attractive hinge design
  • Pen and keyboard included
  • The good-looking hinged kickstand has a lot of positioning flexibility. Has a USB-C port for video output and peripherals with adapters. Unlike Microsoft
  • Lenovo includes a generally excellent backlit keyboard cover. Lenovo's Active Pen and palm rejection
  • Latest-gen CPU means snappy performance
  • Bundled stylus is a nice extra
  • Works great as a tablet
  • And as a laptop
  • Beats Surface Pro 4 on price
  • Has USB-C as well as USB 3.0
  • Included keyboard cover

The editors didn't like

  • Terrible keyboard and trackpad
  • Sub-par battery life
  • Annoying touchpad
  • Expensive considering shortcomings
  • Low
  • Travel keyboard
  • Chunkier bezels than the competition
  • The fans can get a little too loud for quiet environments. No memory card slot for expansion. The Active Pen is a $40 extra and its included holder blocks the power jack. The tiny right-hand shift key is horrible
  • Keyboard oddities rule out even basic gaming
  • Battery ain't amazing
  • Screen resolution is lacking against the Surface Pro
  • No microSD
  • Charger should be USB-C
  • Average battery life

  • Abstract:  First glance at the Lenovo Miix 510 and you'll be looking for the Microsoft logo. But no, this isn't the Surface 4, this is the Chinese maker's savvy take on the 2-in-1. We say savvy because the Miix 510 comes with both the keyboard and stylus included i...

  • Abstract:  The Lenovo Miix 510 is a 2-in-1 Windows tablet that is thin and light with a large-screen, a detachable keyboard that doubles up as its cover, a Lenovo Active Pen stylus and a soft, flexible carry case. With a durable aluminium design and its signature wa...

  • The Lenovo Miix 510 is an excellent -- and more affordable -- alternative to Microsoft's 2-in-1 tablet PC. And it might be the better choice for you...

  • I can't argue that the Lenovo IdeaPad Miix 510 is better than the Surface Pro 4 for every type of user. It weighs more than the Surface and gets hours less battery life. You can't log in with your eyes or your fingers. It's heavier and thicker than its co...

  • Design is pretty cool, the display is good at any viewing angle, Windows 10 runs smooth with no hiccups
  • The camera isn't the greatest, the keyboard can get annoying with the right Shift key being small as it may not be for everyone
  • At the end of the day the Miix 510 is a great 2 in 1 PC, but for the price it may be a turn off to some. Even so, there are plenty of pros that can make you look away from the price such as the 12.2″ FHD+ display, optional Active Pen to sketch, attachable...
