The first thing you'll notice is this slate’s classy aluminium construction. It’s just 4mm at its thinnest point
Which is mighty slim
And it’s very light as well. It's also a breeze to hold - just grab hold of the cylinder at the bottom that contains the Yoga's mammoth 6

While the Yoga Tablet 8 has excellent design and battery life
It falls flat everywhere else. Performance is abysmal. Even with its 1.2GHz quad-core processor and 1GB of RAM
It's just not quick enough to keep up with its similarly-priced peers. A simple task like swiping through the homescreen is laggy and sluggish. Even the latest Nexus 7 - which costs the same as the Yoga Tablet 8 - can handle

The Lenovo Yoga Tablet 8's super-slim, unique design makes it easy to hold. It's also only $250
The tablet's low-resolution screen is dull and the heavily modified operating system is downright ugly
Though it feels well-built and has a handy kickstand, the Lenovo Yoga Tablet’s poor performance makes it hard to justify even at its low cost.
I actually really liked both of these tablets. Even though they aren't super spec'd out like the Galaxy Note 10.1 or the Transformer Pad Infinity TF701T, it's still a really nice tablet. Although I think I'd prefer the 8-inch tablet for everyday use, th...
very good, if you seek battery life) I was genuinely surprised (in a good way) by the Lenovo Yoga Tablet design and overall philosophy, and at the same time, I’m pleased to see that instead of trying to go head-to-head against Nexus 7 Lenovo carved a...
