  • The massive screens make games like Zelda: Spirit Tracks and New Super Mario Bros. look better than they’ve ever done before
  • Portability is sacrificed for comfort
  • Nintendo’s attempt to crack the older end of the gaming spectrum is a queer beast, but on the whole we’d certainly recommend the DSi XL to anyone who is thinking of picking up their first DS console...

  • Larger screen, Bigger stylus
  • Same resolution as the DSi, Small buttons, Bulky
  • A fair punt from Ninty for the grey pound, but if you're more of a gamer on the move stick to the DSi

  • This handheld game console has two large, easytosee screens,
  • It is slightly more difficult to carry around because of its size.
  • The Nintendo DSi XL is great if you are more concerned about screen size than portability....

  • Large dual-screen format; improved battery life vs. DSi
  • No MP3 support; competes with Nintendo's other DS models and comparably priced Wii console
  • A good choice for new Nintendo users, plus older and casual gamers

  • Abstract:  If you already own a DSi, the DSi XL is probably not for you. That's not to say it's not for anyone; it's the same device as the DSi, just bigger. And that's it: it's for people who want bigger.I don't want to spend too much time guessing as to what demog...

  • Abstract:  It’s the DSi on steroids, the portable console for the poorly sighted, for your grandparents, for anyone with big hands and big pockets. On sale in Japan for several months now, the Nintendo DSi XL has only just arrived on North American shores. Not so...

  • Superior audio quality, sleek yet hefty design, larger screen size benefits both graphics and DS touch gameplay.
  • High price for a late redesign. Despite larger dimensions, no GBA support. Camera resolution hasn't been improved from the original DSi whatsoever.
