  • Abstract:  It's hard to believe that it's been over six years since Super Smash Bros Brawl came out on the Wii. Reviewing a Smash Bros game is always a strange, exhilarating experience, because it's a once-in-a-generation occurrence and Nintendo always finds a way t...

  • Abstract:  What would happen if Nintendo's wildly popular fighting game franchise stepped through the looking glass, ate a magic mushroom, and became very, very tiny? We've just found out, as the series is appearing in portable format for the first time with Super S...

  • Abstract:  Super Smash Bros for Nintendo 3DS brings Nintendo's popular brawler series to mobile platforms. It's an interesting but ultimately flawed effort. It's taken me a while to get this review written, because, if I'm honest, it's taken me a fair while to assess...

  • Abstract:  Quirky picks: as characters from non-violent games, fighters like Wii Fit Trainer and Villager have some interesting combat options. For the uninitiated, the core of Super Smash Bros. is a kind of supercharged sumo battle where up to four players wail on e...

  • What's mind blowing is that Nintendo have somehow put Super Smash Bros into pockets without cutting corners. The game has a wealth of content to keep players busy for many, many hours. Fans will be well pleased and newcomers will be set down the path to S...

  • Easy controls, Great modes, Lots of unlockables
  • Tiny 4player characters, Smash Run mode
  • Smash 3DS is impressive and, for the most part, feels right at home on 3DS. The multitude of ways to play and awesome customization gave me many reasons to keep fighting - and I've been at it for more than 45 hours already. It all produces a fun feedback...
