Revamped 3D graphics and music; full voice acting for the FFIV cast for the first time; new Augment system adds an extra layer of depth
Still too similar to the original game; extra content from FFIV Advance has been removed; parts of Augment system slightly flawed
The definitive version of FFIV….but just barely. Beautiful and containing a hardcore challenge, but other than the cosmetic changes there’s not much new here. If you’ve never played Final Fantasy IV before, now is the time.

Its Final Fantasy IV, but its also a great DS game with enhanced graphics, improved audio, and excellent gameplay additions.
Some minor technical flaws could have been fixed, but its nothing too serious.
Every RPG fan should play Final Fantasy IV at least once. Seventeen years after its release, the game is still a brilliant example of solid storyline, excellent character turnover and fast pace, both in battles and in exploration sessions. Its main cha...
Abstract: More than 15 years ago, SquareSoft shocked the world with its masterpiece Final Fantasy II (which was actually the fourth game in the series but only the second released in North America). For the first time, console role-players werent given a few ge...
