Fantastisk audiovisuell presentasjon, noen svært minneverdige templer, fortsatt et fantastisk todimensjonalt Zelda-spill etter 26 år, den sære tonen og tematikken i spillet skiller seg fremdeles positivt ut
Noen av templene er for generiske, å bygge sine egne templer er ikke like underholdende som det burde, for mange tomme og innholdsløse områder, å gå tilbake til en lineær struktur kan kjennes uvant
