A cinematic masterpiece?
Better combat
Combat has been revamped and made more indepth than previous games. Not only can Nathan shoot weapons
Such as an AK47
Shotgun
Or sniper rifle
He can now also get closeup and personal and apply melee
Combos and
Sublime game engine
Updated gameplay
Plot and characters
Amazing visuals
Now enhanced by 3D
Shooting and climbing fine-tuned to near-perfection
Endgame isnt as silly as previous games
One of the best examples of storytelling to date
Good platforming and puzzling
Epic level design with truly breathtaking vistas
Truly brilliant voice acting and character interaction
Answers many questions while throwing up a few new ones
Multiplayer and co-op are great fun
Dazzling blend of matinee thrills and all-action gaming
The most spectacular set-pieces in the business
Incredible graphics and a game with real heart
The editors didn't like
Simplistic
Contrived
Scripted
Some puzzles can be tedious
Trying to find that initial ledge to grab onto to progress can be frustrating
Multiplayer won't last
Some of the bigger action scenes feel strangely flat
Chloe and Elena feel underutilized
No chopper battles
Except in co-op
Combat is still a bit flat
Enemy types have little variance
Final third is a straight rip of Uncharted 2
Whilst still very good
Doesn't add anything new
Multiplayer will only last until the launch of MW3
A mostly linear experience
Works best if you've played Uncharted and Uncharted 2
Abstract: To call Uncharted 3 one of the most anticipated titles of 2011 would be like calling the Atlantic Ocean mildly damp. When it comes to bombastic blockbuster experiences, no series does things bigger, better, and with more polish than Naughty Dog’s homag...
Abstract: The videogame industry is a funny thing, all the big titles are shown off at preview events and shows across the world and at that time we are always promised that what we are seeing is either preview code that will be improved or true ingame footage that...
Abstract: There are some games that we cannot wait to start playing, and others that we never want to stop. Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception is quite easily both. The game sucked us in from the beginning, with a clever twist in the first hour that left us chucklin...
Abstract: Naughty Dog's third instalment in the epic story of Nathan Drake is a mix of revelation and deceit. Will Drake be able to confront his worst enemy? Drake is on a quest to find the ‘Atlantis of the Sands', a city lost in the middle of the Arabian Desert.In...
Uncharted is the reason I play PS3. Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception brings a memorable adventure that satisfies in every way, which continues where Uncharted 2: Among Thieves left off. From the opening music on the title screen to the moment the credits ro

The shooting mechanics just don't feel that great, Guns don't feel powerful, Aiming system is inaccurate in gunplay, Shorter gameplay period
The overall Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception Review shows that the latest from Naughty Dog is really a Jaw-Droppingly Spectacular game that will hook the gamers till the last. And till date, it has been rated as the best and most exclusive PS3 game ever des...
Abstract: Lara Croft is so passé. The undisputed queen of raiding has been replaced by Nathan Drake, an everyday man with a penchant for danger and an amicable shoot first or rather jump first, ask questions later mentality. Two games in and the Uncharted seri...
Superlative cinematic experience; Phenomenal character animation; Captures the essence of the adventure genre; Excellent art direction; Amazing texture work; Staggering attention to detail; Scalable puzzles; No two levels look the same; Fun combat.
Weapons lack balance; A few combat sequences are frustrating; Hand-to-hand combat gets repetitive.
Exciting and cinematic sequences; improved melee combat; great story and voice work; good puzzles; some of the best graphics seen on a PS3 thus far.
Freedom of movement in some areas also means you can lose sight of your objective in the heat of battle; some character models reused too often.
Naughty Dog has once again delivered a product which effectively blurs the line between a movie and a game and this is perhaps the biggest take away from Uncharted 3. LIGHT AND SHADOW: Uncharted 3 still features some of the most well-realised and beau...
