Abstract: Published January 16th 2012. Written by Dominic Sheard. The Uncharted franchise has increasingly become one of the highlights of playing videogames for me. I love the sheer excitement those games build up as I immerse myself in an (almost) Hollywood a...
Abstract: Look past the big name and beloved action hero, Uncharted: Golden Abyss is your typical launch game. It's a safe franchise that everybody loves and shoehorns in all of the gimmicky functionality the system has to offer. It's not disappointing, but al...
Abstract: As one who thought Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception ended two or three chapters too early (not to mention with too many loose ends), I'm glad to get back into another Nathan Drake adventure a mere four months after the last PlayStation 3 outing. Moreover, w...
A full, console Uncharted experience captured on a portable for the first time, Witty banter and great character animation drive the story, Beautifully lush jungle environments
Constant busywork interludes that seem designed to show off the Vita's control options, Touchscreen controls that feel shoehorned in, for the most part, Stop-and-pop shooting sections can feel repetitive by the time the game is done.

Abstract: Uncharted: Golden Abyss is perhaps the most anticipated title in the PlayStation Vita's incredible launch lineup. Nathan Drake is finally bringing the adventure to a handheld console? I'm pretty much sold. Now, there's one question that longtime Unchar...
Abstract: Uncharted: Golden Abyss Review1 2 I wouldn't blame anyone for approaching Uncharted: Golden Abyss (the second new Uncharted game in three months) with a touch of resistance, but fears of this handheld adventure being a straight-to-DVD sequel in compari...
Abstract: The Uncharted series is steeped in history; its protagonist claims to be a descendent of famed explored Sir Francis Drake, and each plot unfolds, Indiana Jones-like, as a piece of fantasy-laden historical fiction. The latest chapter of the series, Unch...
Exciting, strategic combat, Great voice acting, Beautiful visuals.
Flaky AI, Some touch and motion controls detract from the fun, Dull narrative saps the drive from the characters and gameplay.
Can Golden Abyss live up to the series' excellent pedigree, or is this one adventure too far for Nathan Drake? Mark Walton finds out in this video review....
I don't mean to sound like I'm being hypercritical of Uncharted: Golden Abyss. The game is great and an impressive launch title for the PlayStation Vita. It's just that the Uncharted series has been known for being a story-driven experience, and Golden...
Abstract: On paper, Uncharted: Golden Abyss sounds like it should be great. Hell, it should be better than great, but even with the original voice actors reprising their roles, luscious visuals, and plenty of opportunities to run like crazy from exploding buildi...
