  • Not as bold as Super Mario Galaxy
  • No online multiplayer
  • Sometimes difficult to correctly jump

  • Abstract:  When I was a kid playing Super Mario All-Stars and Super Mario World on my SNES, I was fascinated by the manuals that came included with Nintendo games of the era. Rather than the lazy black and white screen captures of pixelated items, alongside poor...

  • Abstract:  CommentI probably won’t play a game as good as Super Mario 3D World for the rest of this year. If the hype train hasn’t caught up to you yet, I’m not sure what I can do with this review to bring you on board. But it’s an absolutely fantastic game that ...

  • Abstract:  I had my doubts from the first moment I have played Super Mario 3D World at E3 and the events after. Don't get me wrong, I liked what I played, but I felt that something was lacking. Super Mario 3D Land was, and is, my favorite Mario game of the last c...

  • Abstract:  Nintendo's grip on the Mario franchise combined with their desire to make a game that utilizes every facet of the Wii U's uniqueness has come together to form a title that somehow manages to feel new and familiar at the same time. Blasphemous as it may so...

  • Abstract:  If you had asked me a month ago which consoles I'd be spending the most time with over the holidays, the Wii U and the Nintendo 3DS would not have been on that list. Two huge releases later , however, and I'm having trouble deciding which Nintendo console...

  • Abstract:  My first magic Mario moment was when I was in second grade. I was playing Super Mario Bros. 3 for the first time, and I discovered the Warp Whistle in 1-3. It wasn't a huge secret, anyone with access to an NES knew the trick, but knowing how to reach it a...
