  • Abstract:  Something that people often forget is that Batman isn't all just grim and serious, with moods that range from "angry in a satirical world" (like Dark Knight Returns) to "angry in a realistic world" (like in a Christopher Nolan movie). He's been around ...

  • If The Brave and the Bold was a downloadable title I would buy it in an instant. But it's a full $40 game. There's a lot of flair and style with The Brave and the Bold, but it's a pretty mindless affair, even for a kids' game. It gets repetitive, and I...

  • Abstract:  After Rocksteady’s heavy and dark Batman: Arkham Asylum, gamers and fans of The Dark Knight might be looking for a nice palate cleanser. Their answer is WayForward’s Batman: The Brave and the Bold, a cooperative, retro-style beat ‘em up based on the ...

  • He's Batman! Wide variety of DC heroes. Kid friendly
  • AI in single player is woeful. Why does Bruce Wayne need to collect money for upgrades?. Simple fighting controls. Somewhat repetitive
  • The Brave And The Bold is a light enjoyable romp for younger gamers, but those after lots of variety might find it a little dull....

  • Abstract:  The Videogame It's hard not to be biased when your a comic geek but hell... this is BATMAN we're talking about here. He doesn't need the sun to power his superpowers for superhuman strength nor need to be bitten by a radioactive spider to jump ... no, ...

  • Flashy combat, extremely forgiving gameplay, excellent voice acting and music, each level feels like an episode of the actual show
  • Extremely repetitive action gets old very quickly, not much variety in combat system, game is very short, brain-numbingly simple, lacks consistent challenge
  • An entertaining if simplistic side-scrolling beat-em-up, Batman: The Brave and the Bold expertly captures the campy tone of the animated series, but suffers from a lack of variety and a surprisingly short play life...

  • Abstract:  Few comic book characters have stood the test of time like our Caped Crusader. Since his genesis way back in 1939, we have seen him evolve through the likes of Todd McFarlane and Christopher Nolan into a timeless hero. The bat-cowl, the bat-mobile, the...

  • Abstract:  Batman: The Brave and the Bold is very much a franchise experience. You're greeted with a cheery smile, welcomed, and encouraged to enjoy your stay. It's functional and enjoyable on the surface, but digging deeper will reveal a title that seldom dares ...

  • Art design is brilliant. Humorous banter between friend and foe alike.
  • The more advanced moves require quite a bit of co-ordination that might put younger players off. The AI can sometimes be a bit wonky, but it's not a game-breaker. Including harder difficulty levels would have increased replayability tenfold.

  • Warner Bros. Batman: The Brave and the Bold wurde liebevoll für die Wii-Konsole umgesetzt. Die 2D-Präsnetation stört dabei keineswegs. Die tadellose deutsche Synchronisation und das angenehme Gameplay unterhalten gekonnt über viele Stunden. Jede Menge...
