  • Abstract:  After writing the 3D platformer rulebook back in 1996 with Super Mario 64, Nintendo has had one hell of a mountain to climb to top that classic title. Super Mario Sunshine came close, but even the interesting new FLUDD mechanic and tropical setting cou...

  • Abstract:  Whilst it is unlikely that this is the first Mario Galaxy review you have read, and less likely still that you are unaware of the sort of scores it is amassing, you may be less familiar with some of the more intimate details of Nintendos latest outing...

  • Abstract:  Having had the chance to play quite a few Wii games to date I would venture to say that Mario Galaxy is one of, if not the best looking game to date on Nintendo’s next-generation system. Everything just screams Nintendo quality. If you think that I...

  • Excitement and wonder around every corner; loads of bonus stages, unlockables; beautiful visuals; majestic orchestral soundtrack.
  • Wii-mote controls are tricky with certain power-ups; voice acting has mysteriously disappeared.
  • A true evolution of the platforming genre and one of the best videogames to come out in a long time.

  • Abstract:  What gamer hasnt heard of Mario? If you started your gaming off when I did, you played some of the earlier adventures. Maybe you met Mario in Super Mario Bros, or even in Donkey Kong. Maybe your first experience was on the SNES with Super Mario World...

  • Abstract:  Rating: Everyone Super Mario Galaxy begins with a somewhat menacing tone: Princess Peach has invited Mario to the castle because she has a surprise for him. If that werent bad enough, it is also the day of the festival. Which festival? The festival. ...

  • Abstract:  "Wow". There, I said it. And you will too after playing Super Mario Galaxy, the spiritual successor to Super Mario 64. See that score to the right of the review? Add a plus sign to it. Our review guidelines don't allow for games to receive an "A+", but...

  • Abstract:  Super Mario Galaxy, like every Super Mario game, follows the unsurprisingly bad premise it’s had since the original Donkey Kong. The easy-to-kidnap Princess Peach is taken by our favorite giant, evil turtle Bowser. Arriving just in the nick of time...

  • Abstract:  del.icio.us | Digg This | Glink It In the first week of September, 1996, an unfamiliar controller caught my attention. It was attached to a new kiosk at Blockbuster and, after staring at it for a few seconds, I realized what I was looking at: Ninten...
