  • MotionPlus is excellent when well-utilised, many strong events including Archery and Swordplay
  • A few so-so sports, no online play, not all games show off MotionPlus tech
  • Though time will tell whether it achieves the same phenomenal success of the original, Wii Sports Resort has the great same mix of innovation and accessibility. Much like how you marvelled at the first swing of the bat in Wii Sports, tossing your firs...

  • Abstract:  The only way to reach Wuhu Island resort is to throw yourself out of a plane and skydive in, setting a captivating scene for newcomers to the latest Wii Sports release. Sports Resort is the follow-on title to the phenomenally successful Wii Sports ...

  • Abstract:  Nintendos follow-up to the phenomenally popular Wii Sports collection, Wii Sports Resort brings back a couple of favourites (like bowling and golf) along with 10 brand new games, plus introduces a new level of control, with the addition of W...

  • The Wii MotionPlus definitely ups the entertainment and realism stakes; loads of new sports to try; a great ‘spectator sport’
  • A few of the activities are too repetitious or frustrating to encourage repeat showings; you will need to invest in at least one more MotionPlus to play some of the multiplayer sports.

  • Abstract:  Truth be told, we still dust off Wii Sports from time to time and have an extended session of tennis or bowling. Even three years down the track, the title that launched alongside the Wii is still darn good fun. When we started hearing rumours of an i...

  • Abstract:  Looking more like something used for nefarious deeds than a game controller add-on, Motion Plus comes bundled with Wii Sports Resort - the follow up to the spectacular Wii launch title. The little Motion Plus box is couched in a silicon sleeve that fit...

  • Abstract:  Wii Sports was kind of a big deal in 2006. General consensus and a bunch of awards had it as Sports Game of the Year. It also drove Wii console sales since it was bundled in the package, and caused a sizable penny to drop: good graphics does not a good...

  • Large variety of mini games; accurate Wii Motion Plus controls; high replay value.
  • Water sports games aren’t great; no graphical enhancements.
  • If you’ve been itching to try out the new Wii Motion Plus controls there’s no better excuse than to pick up a copy of Wii Sports Resort. It is a great party game that is meant to be played with others, even those who have never picked up a con...
