  • Abstract:  Peter Molyneux is known as one of the best game designers around, but Peter has a problem. He has a habit of over promising and under delivering. The best example of this recently was Fable, a game for the original Xbox which promised to react to every...

  • Large number and variety of activities, lots of world and character customisation, stunning storybook graphics, flexible and enjoyable combat
  • Unsatisfying main campaign, enemies present little challenge, dog isn’t terribly interesting, some irritating questing quirks
  • Lots of games claim you can go anywhere and do anything inside their worlds. The trouble is, once you’ve eluded the cops for the umpteenth time, the whole exercise starts to feel hollow when your actions leave no lasting impact. What makes Fable II...

  • Abstract:  Tony Smith9.9 Fable II may be the ultimate “sandbox” game and is definitely a contender for Game of the Year, thanks to the varied and almost open-ended gameplay that has been created by Lionhead Studios. Although the original game of the Series, Fabl...

  • Abstract:  During E3 we were able to play with the demo of Fable II. It was a lot of fun, but now we went one better and met with Peter Molyneux, lead game designer, who talked us through a handful of gameplay features that we hadnt seen previously. The most mem...

  • Abstract:  The ambitious Fable II presents such an incredibly convincing world to explore that you often find yourself sidetracked for hours rather than progressing with the "real" drama of avenging a great loss and ridding Albion of its villain. Dont...

  • Fantastic graphics. Gorgeous, immense environments. Broad range of enemies and a large number of quests to complete. The effect that your actions have on your character and people around you.
  • The world is not as non-linear as one could hope. Occasionally the context-sensitive buttons dont work as one would like. You cannot take your own character into co-op if joining another game.

  • Abstract:  Fable II is one of the biggest titles of 2008, and has been anticipated by many eager 360 owners for years. As such, a lot of hype has been built up, as feature after feature was unveiled and sounded more awesome than the last. You could get married an...

  • Great plot, amazing visuals and character design, deep and enchanting gameplay, top notch presentation , provides many hours of entertainment
  • Co-op should have been better
  • The original Fable was a major success, even though it missed out on many features that were promised during development. This time around Peter Molyneux was a tad bit careful and kept the pre-release hype to a minimum. In the end, we believe he may ha...
