The editors didn't like

  • Glassy "uncanny valley" feel
  • Bland presentation
  • Forza Motorsport 3 looks so uncannily real that it’s disconcerting. Cars look photoreal
  • Yet this can make the game seem glassy and bland. Driving simulation games like Forza Motorsport 3 and Gran Turismo 5 avoid the flash

  • Penalties didn't exactly stop me from bashing opponents out of the way
  • Some drivers decided that a brick wall was the quickest route making some races a tad too easy

  • Abstract:  Forza 3 has been in stores for a few weeks now but we've only just got a copy to review. For that reason, I'm going to buck the trend a little here and, instead of relating how many cars and tracks there are, how amazingly detailed the upgrade pa...

  • Hundreds of desirable cars to drive, paint and tune , Great and varied selection of tracks to race on , Presentation is uniformly excellent , Superb online multiplayer options , New store front features make it easier to buy and sell your creations
  • AI drivers occasionally fall asleep at the wheel , Career bug sometimes lets you use cars that far exceed event restrictions
  • Turn 10 Studios' latest racer is bigger and better than its superb predecessor in every way....

  • Smooth racing, great multiplayer and deep editing features -- as usual, deep career mode doesn’t seem to end, insanely pretty
  • Realism is intimidating and annoying for casual drivers, inelegant rewind feature
  • I’m not a big car nut but I can understand why people appreciate a well designed automobile. Something about the blend of power and aesthetics inspires a natural sense of excitement and wonder. Forza 3 is sort of like an exotic auto: it looks great...

  • Abstract:  Yes, comparisons have been made to Gran Turismo, however Forza Motorsport 3 is now it's own game and really gives XBox 360 users not only the most realistic driving experience to date but gameplay and graphics to boot. Raaaacing! As with the previous ...

  • Abstract:  NameLet's face it, for most of us owning a supercar is never going to happen, in fact, we'll probably never even get to sit in one. This is why racing games like Forza Motorsport 3 play such an important role in helping budget-conscious drivers come to gr...

  • Abstract:  Racing games have sure come a long way. From the Monaco Grand Prix days on my Commodore 64, car games have always been a favourite of mine. Back then, racing was a top down, scrolling screen affair, with no actual corners, just an 8-bit background with...

  • Fun, huge, sweet online play, best car game on a console to date.
  • Could do with more old cars. No 900 degree wheel in New Zealand yet. You will need a hard drive for all the features.

  • Abstract:  Forza 3 tries to capture every aspect of car culture. It includes drag racing, drifting, circuit racing, tuning and all things making your car pretty. For me though, Forza 3 is all about the tracks. The last Forza already had a good car selection, custo...

  • While being a top-notch racing sim, F3 lacks some of the excitement of SHIFT. Granted instant replay is really smart and the scenery on some of the tracks, such as the Amalfi Coast, is spectacular. The developers, Turn 10, did a much better job on Forz...
