  • Limbo is the best original game I’ve played in 2010 on any platform. It combines near flawless gameplay and outstanding game design with the most immersive atmosphere I’ve seen in years. Every single area I’ve had to tick the game off in is irrelevant ...

  • Abstract:  Limbo is a title many have been looking forward to ever since trailers and gameplay videos for it emerged. Using little more than black, gray, and white for its graphics along with an extremely limited set of sound and music, Limbo was clearly trying t...

  • Abstract:  I'll be honest, I didn't expect much when I first heard about Limbo. To me, it looked and sounded like yet another art game that people clambered over each other to fellate because it made them feel intelligent. Then I played it. Then I shut my mouth....

  • For a game of this age, it still delivers on all levels, especially with the simplistic yet challenging gameplay and the gorgeous presentation and clever puzzles. Even though you are given very few details as far as plot is concerned you can't help but in...

  • Abstract:  Available exclusively on the Xbox Live service, PlayDead Studio’s Limbo constitutes a hurricane, not breath, of fresh air as it rips through the often mediocre competition on Xbox 360, turning a lot of current videogame archetypes on their head....

  • Excellent physics, immersive atmosphere, amazing sound design, puzzles are ingenious
  • Somewhat short, not much replay value beyond Achievements, plot doesn't really provide a satisfying conclusion
  • LIMBO has been on our radar ever since we first got a glimpse of PlayDead Studio's strange, colourless world, and everytime we were given a demo or shown a new level, our interest grew. Now that the game is finally here, we're happy to see that it lives u...

  • Abstract:  If you weren't scared of giant killer spiders before then you sure as hell will be now. Limbo is an Xbox Live Arcade Game from Playdead Studios. It’s an experience unlike anything else and it’s all the better for it. Limbo starts off with your charact...

  • Abstract:  An Xbox Live Arcade title, Limbo casts you as a boy who must platform and puzzle-solve his way across the dark and disturbing discard plane to discover his sister's fate. This premise is soon lost in the shadowy art direction, which is a shame, because...

  • Abstract:  Welcome to Limbo, a monochrome place where Spiders are over ten feet tall and love to impale small children with their legs. According to Catholic theology, Limbo is the edge of hell. From what we can tell based on early reports and developer interview...

  • Unique, award-winning art direction. Audio is done very well and helps to create the world. Death animations. Some inventive puzzles.
  • A lot of frustrating puzzles. Lacks a well-told or even particularly interesting story. Too much trial and error. Some platforming puzzles require absolutely perfect timing - you'll have to repeat many of the same processes over and over until you get it right.
