  • Minimalist digital display is easytoread (large digits) and bright (backlit). Modern design lines and slimandtrim. Display turns off to indicate measurements are complete. Price has dropped in the last year
  • Glass is streakprone and hard to clean (even with Windex!) Noticeably larger squarefootage than a lot of analog scales. Plastic feet bottoms look cheap and come with adhesive that's weaker than Harold Wormser (front middle). It's still 0

  • Abstract:  But if the idea of tracking your weight with some degree of automation is of interest, the Withings Connected Scale may have some conceptual appeal. Cosmetically, it looks like an iMac-inspired digital scale with similar styling—an all-glass top surfa...

  • Abstract:  For many of us, the bathroom scale is not our best friend. However, the Withings WiFi Body Scale is not your ordinary bathroom scale. If you’re watching your weight for a special diet or monitoring your health for medical reasons, this device takes the...

  • Relatively easy to set up, can monitor up to 8 people’s weight, automatically uploads data to the Withings website where you can chart progress and set goals, free iPhone app lets you monitor your weight loss and find inspiration while away from the computer, optional ability to post your weight to Twitter to help your friends motivate you, is just plain geeky fun to use!
  • Hard to keep clean, not recommended for people with pacemakers, takes the reading a bit too fast, I’m not sure how many people will actually use the “social embarrassment” aspects of the device Every time you submit our site, an Angel gets its wings.
  • The Withings Body Scale is the tech geek’s best friend in the war on flab. While I initially thought that setting the scale to automatically post my weight to Twitter would be the motivating force in my weight loss, as I went along I found that simply...

  • Abstract:  Now $160 for a scale. Okay, I get it. Kind of like paying $160 for a toaster, right? Well, suppose that toaster could keep track of your whole grains intake and tasty breakfast satisfaction on the web. Suppose that toaster could beam your whole wheat ...

  • Expensive, but worth it. How do we justify a $160 scale when normal scales are $20 at Target? Think about when the last time your parents replaced their bathroom scale. Was it before you were born? Was it never? $160 isn't too much when you spread it...

  • With modern good looks, the Withings Body Scale tracks weight, BMI, and body fat percentage over time. Data is stored in the cloud and the scale supports many third-party fitness solutions
  • Despite an inferior build quality, the Body Scale is more expensive than the Fitbit Aria. Its interface is not as intuitive, and Withings' online tools are basic
  • The $159 ultraflexible Withings Body Scale, once the pinnacle of home weight measurement, is losing its edge in the face of better competition....
