  • Charges numerous types of electronic devices, Charges up to four devices at once, Available in seven color options, Well constructed, Power button to shut off IDAPT4 when not in use
  • Larger devices awkward to charge
  • In the past I have reviewed several universal chargers including a couple of induction style units. The drawback to induction charging is the need for an induction connector between the device being charged and the induction pad. IDAPT avoids this by havi...

  • Abstract:  Ah, electricity. The life blood that keeps us electronic-toting, gadget-loving nerds alive. Well, ok. Actual blood keeps us alive if you want to get all technical. But for all intents and purposes, it's electricity that keeps us moving. But unlike our gad...

  • Choosing custom tips online is a great option. Looks cool. Not as expensive as other similar chargers. Comes in black, silver, white, or hot pink.
  • Base is just a tad too bulky. Should come with the battery charger.
  • It’s less expensive than other similar multichargers, and with additional tips just a few clicks and dollars away, the i4 will charge practically any device you own.Idapt...

  • Can be powered off when it's not needed; wide range of charging tips.
  • Pricey; doesn't sync docked devices to your PC.

  • Easy to use, charges multiple devices, relatively small form, comes with 6 well labeled adapters and has a power switch
  • Glossy case collects dust and takes a little plug management when charging larger devices. (Plug design may eventually cause stress on power port or plug)
  • If you want to cut down on cable clutter on the counter and the frustration of rummaging through your drawers of tangled plugs looking for just the right plug, it’s well worth the price. The iDapt i4 has quickly become the most often u...

  • Abstract:  Out now Back in April, I reviewed the IDAPT I3 digital device charger. It was a good system; a convenient way to charge up to three devices at once. And with the interchangeable tips, you get to determine the devices. A couple of things about it bugge...

  • Comes with a good assortment of tips, has a nice, low profile, will even charge my iPad, lights up to indicate it is on and charging, easy to swap out tips
  • The 6-tip bundle I was sent for review is wasteful in that it includes three tips I will never use; I would love a bundle with 2 iPhone tips

  • Six bundled tips provide outofbox compatibility with hundreds of gadgets. Compact enough for travel duty, and way easier than schlepping bulky AC adapters. LEDs reveal when charging is complete.
  • No good for oversize devices like ebook readers and tablets. Some gadgets are hard to dock; others won't dock at all (sorry, Zune fans!) Makes you wish for a future that's truly wireless.
