  • Abstract:  You might recall when we reviewed Seagate’s GoFlex ultra-portable drive, as well as the GoFlex Net media sharing device. We’re here once again to continue the GoFlex saga to bring you the GoFlex TV HD media player. This little guy plugs right into your...

  • A great game for Green Day fans. Play as your idols – rock through their catalog and unlock Achievements/Trophies enhancing your love for Billie Joe, Tre, and Mike. Songs play very well within a rhythm game format
  • Visuals are lacking, and so are pivotal Green Day venues like Woodstock. No backstory on the band other than playing their songs. Casual Green Day fans may not bother playing it again after they beat it in just a few hours
  • It just can't be avoided – but with its $129.99 price point, the FreeAgent GoFlex TV is going to be compared to the Roku player HD-XR. However, the GoFlex TV trumps the HD-XR with 1080p vs just 720p, and the GoFlex TV of course has the ability to pla...

  • Abstract:  Back when we reviewed the Seagate GoFlex HDD we concluded that, while the concept of an external drive with interchangeable cables was reasonable, we thought it would make more sense when used with the company’s multimedia docking stations. Happily tha...

  • Abstract:  I am a huge fan of digital media, especially videos. I just love everything about being able to cram hundreds of movies or photos onto a tiny memory card or drive. What used to require a shelf full of DVDs can now be stored in just about any portabl...

  • Small size, comprehensive file support, two USB 2.0 ports, Ethernet port, YouTube and Flickr access, easy to use
  • Remote control could be better, file listing for videos could be better, file index has to be rebuilt every time you switch on the unit
  • If you're looking for a small network media streamer that can also play content off USB hard drives, Seagate's FreeAgent GoFlex TV HD Media Player is a great choice. It has a clean interface that's easy to use and it supports a huge range of file formats...

  • Wide range of codec support. Can take an internal GoFlex drive
  • Can't take all sizes of internal GoFlex drives. Fails to really stand out
  • After a media streaming box that's largely identical to every other media streaming box? Say hello to the Seagate FreeAgent GoFlex TV....

  • The Seagate FreeAgent GoFlex TV is an extremely slow device. There are some stability issues as well, which should hopefully be fixed with some firmware updates. Priced at an MRP of Rs. 8,750, it’s not a very expensive player. If it was faster and a li...

  • Quick setup and easy navigation, Affordably priced, Support for a wide range of Internet services
  • Network playback can be slow, Some features available only via the remote
  • Seagate’s affordably priced full-fledged media player is quite a handful with its support for photos, audio, video, and even content streamed from the Internet or from other networked devices at home. Seagate has delivered a full-featured media player...

  • The Seagate FreeAgent GoFlex TV is a weird creature. It supports almost all media formats, including RMVB and FLV, therefore making it seem like a state of the art player. But its boring design, uninspiring and slightly sluggish user interface seem to ...
