  • Abstract:  For the purposes of this review, two of the most noteworthy are a comparatively small Swedish company, Jays, which recently released q-JAYS ($179), an extremely impressive double-driver earphone, and Etymotic, which sells the superb $299 MSRP, $179 street price ER-4P...

  • JAYS, the company formerly known as “Jens of Sweden”, lately shifted their focus from manufacturing well-designed audio players to equally classy looking in ear phones. After their relatively inexpensive j-JAYS and d-JAYS models they now launched th...

  • Tiny size, excellent sound quality and detail, wide variety of included eartips
  • We don't like the cord length, changing the eartips is fiddly work
  • If you've got a bit of money to spend on some high quality in-ear headphones, we'd definitely consider the Jays q-Jays to be a strong contender. They're on par with high-end performers from audio specialists like Ultimate Ears and have excellent sound qua...

  • Beautiful, even-handed sound. Lots of accessories in the box. Easy to tell the difference between the L and R ear bud by feel. Excellent fit and noise attenuation
  • Cheap looking. Cables are microphonic. May be too warm-sounding for some
  • If you're looking for a set of in-ear headphones the sky's the limit, but we couldn't see how buying anything more expensive than the excellent q-Jays would get you better sound....
