The Logitech Ultra Boom is a lot smaller than some other wireless speakers we’ve tested recently
You can easily grip it one hand (it’s less than seven centimetres wide)
But it still packs enough space inside for a 15 hour battery. And superb sound too
It’s impressively loud
With two 1.5-inch drivers worthy of Logitech’s 360 degree claim. It’s easy to use too
Though it lacks a screen

The Logitech UE Boom is impressive
But it’s also pricey. We’ve tested portable Bluetooth speakers with respectable sound for a tenth of the price before. For the same sum
You can also pick up a wireless speaker that’s much more versatile
If more bulky and less portable
The Pure Jongo S3
Which packs a battery and Bluetooth for outdoor use
But also connects to your home network so you can bos
Pricey
Too dependent on phone
Not true 360

Not a huge amount of bass from this format
It's pricey
Would like more EQ presets and customisation options within app
Could do with a touch more subtlety and refinement
If you want a portable Bluetooth speaker that can take a beating and keep right on rocking — and you care about sound quality — the UE Boom is a time-tested choice. You can find tough speakers that offer more bass, such as Fugoo's Style, but it's hard ...
Abstract: Lots of portable Bluetooth speakers promise to deliver big sound but rarely come up with the goods. Logitech's UE Mini Boom promises it can, but does it?The speaker arrived in a rectangular, plastic display case, raised on its side atop a small cardboard ...
Great sound, attractive design, tons of actually useful features
None
The UE Boom is simply the best wireless speaker I've ever used. It's attractive, has some seriously awesome features, and sounds spectacular. At $200, you'd be hard-pressed to find an equally good speaker for cheaper. If you're interested in the wireless ...
The UE BOOM speaker produces clear and brilliant undistorted sound for fun casual listening, and the key selling factors would have to be its “life resistant” properties of being water resistant, drop proof, as well as the app features. But if you desire...

Abstract: For a limited time, Ultimate Ears (aka UE) is allowing their BOOM portable speaker to be aurally customized with a 10-second message. Your personalized message will replace the stock bongos that played when "powering on" the device.UE asks that the person...
Abstract: Lately, we've been reviewing quite a bit of Bluetooth Speakers around here. There's the HMDX Jam XT, the Supertooth Disco Twin, the Divoom Bluetune speaker and plenty of others. So I'll start off this review by saying this, I've never used a Bluetooth spe...
Abstract: In the past year, I've had the chance to review two excellent and portable Bluetooth speakers. Both the UE Mobile Boombox and the Jawbone Mini Jambox have impressed me so much, I was almost tempted to keep them both, redundant as that may seem. So imagine...

Abstract: The new Ultimate Ear Boom and Mini Boom are way more than hip looking speakers. Ultimate Ear is a brand that's been around since 1995 and has produced the most popular in-ear monitor (IEM) headphones among musicians today. In 2008 they were acquired by Lo...
Giant, clear sound, Good battery life, Double Up stereo capability
Expensive
Ultimate Ears accomplished a lot with the Boom, taking a few steps forward from their previous speaker entries in both sound quality and design. Although a number of other devices share a similar form factor, the UE model stands apart with touchable, res...
