Great design, small, sounds good, auto sound control works brilliantly
USB extension gave us some hum in Audacity, natural recording mode is great but very quiet
A lovely device, and one that will add a great deal to either Skype or your podcasting. We used it for both, and all the people we spoke to said it sounded brilliant. Shop around, and you can nab this for just £30 too, and at that price, it's a steal...
Abstract: I find that I'm using Skype more and more these days, and also dictating text to my MacBook on a several-times-daily basis – both of which activities require using the laptop's microphone. Skype is self-explanatory, but you may not have noticed the new di...

Unique, convenient design. Good sound quality for voice calls.

The Tiki is a rare miss from Blue, which normally produces excellent microphones. If you're looking for a mic for voice notes or Skype calls, I would steer clear of Blue's teensy Tiki. It's a pretty trinket, but it doesn't deliver sound quality any better...

Great mic, Beautiful package
Not for professional recording (but they make mics for that)
The quality of the microphone in the Tiki is a huge step up from the built in mics in laptops. Actually, according to my friends, its much better than the mics in any of the headsets I've used to Skype with them previously. This thing is the best thing th...
