  • Compact design; comes in 16GB capacity; large, sharp screen; lots of extra features, including SD-card slot; stellar audio, video quality; excellent battery life
  • Replaces a higher-capacity Creative player; no line-in or FM recording
  • Its not the most eye-catching player out there, but the Creative Zen still has lots going for it: a beautiful screen, excellent sound quality, and good battery life. ...

  • Abstract:  Creative’s Zen line of media players hasn’t stolen much thunder from the iPod, but it has been more successful than many. The latest, dubbed simply the Creative Zen, is a flash-based player that does video on a 2.5-inch screen and rocks a full...

  • Creative’s new player, simply named Zen, adds another powerful player to the Zen family of MP3 and PMPs. With a really nice form factor, this Zen has a 16.7 million-color screen making a noticeable difference to video playback and photo viewing. I h...

  • Larger display than nano, Good audio quality, SD Card slot, Compatible with unprotected AAC files
  • Long startup time, Confusing navigation, Display is dimmer than new nano’s, Static-filled radio reception
  • It has a bigger screen for watching videos. It has expandable memory. And it offers little perks that the new iPod nano doesnt have, like an FM radio and voice recorder. It even supports iTunes unprotected AAC format. Add it all up and what do you ha...

  • Amazing sound quality, excellent easy to use PC software, built-in FM radio and organiser with Outlook synchronisation capability, support for WAV, MP3 and WMA, user replaceable battery.
  • Controls a little hard to use, no support for iTunes ACC format, chunky, geeky appearance, only available in black or white, monochrome screen, no photo support.
  • It may not be chic or able to display photos on a tiny colour screen, but when it comes to quality sound and useful features, the Zen is an excellent product.
