  • Rugged build, Loud, Portable, Spring-loaded dock and clamp, Remote with bass and treble controls
  • Bass lacks refinement
  • The iM7 instantly reminds us of a classic boom box design, except that in the place of a twin cassette deck you get a spring-loaded iPod-dock loading bay that smoothly flips out with a push and click. A wheel clamp then tightens the grip on the iPod, s...

  • Stylish. Excellent sound. Universal power adapter. Can use batteries.
  • Short remote range. No indicators for controls. Uncomfortable handle.
  • Even with the iM7s shortcomings, the sound it produces is just too good to pass up.
