  • Despite the irritations, the T9 is a good player. However, it suffers in comparison with some very hot competition. It looks smart, but if looks were all that mattered you'd buy a Nano. It has media playback capabilities, but so does the iRiver Clix with ...

  • Abstract:  With the comment fires raging at Microsoft’s claim to have sold a million Zunes in less than six months, perhaps it’s a good time to look at another of Apple’s competitors, and one which provokes a little less bile. Samsung has already s...

  • Large and bright display, easy-to-navigate menu system, video capability
  • Slippery finish, awkward "back" button placement
  • The Samsung YP-T9 Flash-memory MP3 player is a midsize multimedia portable capable of handling many types of digital files, including MP3, WMA, DRM10 and MPEG4 video, and it packs in a host of other useful features as well. The YP-T9 is available in 2...

  • Very slick design. Great sound quality. Nice screen with a cool interface.
  • Lousy transfer software. Lack of supported file types. No alarm clock.
  • An iPod nano killer? Probably not, though it does offer Apples device some stiff competition. It may lack the quick navigation of the iPod, but it has great style, and it sounds every bit as good, if not better, than Apples slim device. The screen ...

  • Tiny size Large and bright screen Video/picture/text/music playback
  • No AAC support Sluggish startup and shutdown times
  • This is one of the few gadgets we’ve seen that have truly lived up to the marketing hype. In fact, this player hasn’t been hyped enough. It is arguably the best MP3 player on the market today. We found no significant faults, and were delighted...

  • The sleek, durable Samsung YP-T9 has a user-friendly interface and is packed with features: photo viewing, video playback, gaming capabilities, voice recording, and subscription music support. It sounds great and looks hot; its battery life is also imp...
  • The Samsung YP-T9s processor is slow, and side buttons take some getting used to. Whats more, the USB port is proprietary, and the device has no UMS mode.
  • Despite a few minor issues, the stylish Samsung YP-T9 is a no-brainer: its easy to use, packed with features, and sounds fantastic. What more could you ask for?
