  • Abstract:  The world’s most expensive Blu-ray player is still cheaper than ultra high-end DVD players. We take a closer look at Panasonics high-end Blu-ray baby. Priced at a wallet-numbing $2,749 Panasonics DMP-BD10 is comfortably the most expensive of the new...

  • Blu-ray discs look and sound amazing, 7.1-channel audio, Solid construction and sleek look
  • Very expensive, even compared with competing players, Long load and eject times, Shoddy remote control, 1080p TV and 7.1-channel set-up required in order to make the most of the player
  • Unless you are very rich and very devoted to the latest and greatest, either wait a while before diving into the world of Blu-ray or pick up a PS3. ...

  • Excellent picture and sound quality from Blu-ray discs, magnificently detailed front projection images
  • Jerky camera pans from Blu-ray player due to the lack of a 24p output mode, even though the projector supports this
