Excellent image quality on Blu-ray Discs; Profile 2.0 compliant; onboard decoding for Dolby TrueHD, plus bit-stream output; Netflix streaming; 1GB onboard memory; 7.1 analog audio outputs.
PlayStation 3 may still offer a better value for some buyers; some disc compatibility issues; lacks DTS-HD Master Audio decoding, although Samsung promises to add it with a firmware update; relatively slow loading times.
