The editors didn't like

  • As a fellow editor pointed out in our early hands on review
  • We're still looking for a native way to stream Amazon Instant Video from a phone or tablet to a Chromecast

  • What's On could stand some more personalization
  • Many features not active in the UK
  • Gaming is weak currently

  • Same easy setup and use, Faster processor, speedier operation, Better Wi-Fi support
  • (Barely) more expensive, No remote control, (Slightly) more complex design
  • Well, you can't, can you? Not easily, at least. If you do happen to find yourself in the US any time soon, or any other market where the Chromecast 2 is sold, you'll pay roughly US$35 — at current exchange rates, that translates into $50 Australian. It's...

  • Good design, Smooth streaming experience, Easy to set up and use, Well designed app and UI
  • Mirroring smartphone display can get buggy for games and some apps
  • At Rs. 3,399, the Chromecast 2 is a good buy, as long as you're streaming a lot of content from your smartphone. The performance is better than its predecessor, and it can turn your dumb old TV into a smarter one. You may not want to go back to watching t...
