Abstract: The Fitbit Flex is a cool-looking, lightweight wristband that tracks and monitors your daily activity and sleep patterns. It syncs with a desktop dashboard and mobile app to give you up-to-date activity data in gorgeous graphs. You can compete with Fitbit-using friends and even upgrade to a premium Daily Trainer service. I found the Fitbit Flex gave me added motivation to walk or run that bit further, and keep an eye on my weight and fitness activities. It’s addictive and fun, and if that gets you moving more and generally fitter and leaner it’s better for you than most other computing or mobile devices......
The Fitbit Force makes necessary changes that ultimately let down the Fitbit Flex and we are glad that a better battery life and a display is included this time round. From a software perspective, Fitbit still offers the most comprehensive platform to rev...
The Fitbit Force is a big, ahem, step up from the Flex, although it's also somewhat bigger itself. The much-more informative display means you can ditch your watch and inspect your smartphone app less for up-to-date activity data. The altimeter that count...

Annoying clasp, Proprietary charger, Stingy Android support
Sure, there's a Fitbit Force recall, but we have heard from a several loyal owners who aren't turning it in for a full refund, a testament to how well the activity tracker works. It's flexible design gives it more of a relaxed fit than the Nike FuelBand S...

Hard to attach to your wris, A bit more expensive than competing fitness trackers
Fitbit's $129 Force is a solid addition to the company's product line, and it's perfect for those who want more functionality in their fitness wearables. It's $30 more expensive than the Flex, but you get a better OLED display and an altimeter, with ...
Solid battery life (710 days), tracks activities including sleep, and finally includes a (OLED) screen!
Annoying clasp system, easy to lose if not careful, proprietary charging port (Force only!!), and known to cause skin irritation (I was fine) from Nickel backing

I have really enjoyed the Fitbit Force since I picked one up. After finally seeing that Nike has no intention on working with Android I was a little disappointed that there was not something similar out there that worked for Android. The Force does a lo...
Simple, understated design, Information-dense OLED display, Wireless syncing over Bluetooth 4.0, Stunning battery life
Cumbersome app design, Food database still lacking
The Force takes what made the Flex fitness tracker successful and adds an extremely useful OLED display. Unfortunately, the diet and sleep tracking features are both still in need of improvement....
