  • Price; battery-power mode; built-in clock; omnidirectional speakers; GSM-shielded iPod dock
  • No AM/FM radio; no built-in rechargeable battery; distorts at higher volumes
  • Logitech's relatively inexpensive Pure-Fi Express Plus is a compact -- and portable -- iPod/iPhone speaker system. It's perfect for casual listening at home or on the road, but keep in mind that despite its omnidirectional design, this unit isn't buil...

  • Built-in alarm clock, Runs on batteries or AC power, Easy to use, Omnidirectional sound gives more placement options
  • No built-in rechargeable battery, iPod/iPhone doesn’t charge while speaker runs on battery power, No built-in radio, Remote doesn’t navigate iPod
  • The Logitech Pure-Fi Express Plus is about as basic as iPod speakers get, though it does have a built-in alarm clock. At just under $100, we think the Express Plus sounds impressive for the money, and makes for a decent accessory either indoors or outs...
